Mr Farrell is an expert in his area of medicine. When you have a consultant with this level of expertise on your team you know you are in extremely safe hands. I would go beyond recommendations and just call him a genius. He is also highly personable which is unusual for a consultant at this level of his career.

I have known Mr Farrell for over 20 years. He looked after my wife who had a loss of hearing with great patience and care. More recently he treated me for Thyroid Cancer carrying out an extremely long and tricky operation with great success. He is a first class surgeon and is very highly regarded by all the people he has come into contact with. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him. A true top of the Premiership consultant.

Mr Roy Farrell saved my life in 2018 and he did it with great care, professionalism, knowledge in his field and unquestionable expertise. Having been diagnosed with head and neck cancer out of the blue I needed a no-nonsense professional consultant who could perform several surgeries - Mr Farrell did this swiftly and with a professional and direct manner. He also went out of his way to refer me rapidly to other doctors and consultants who he knew (with certainty) would be able to help with my very urgent care. I add that I am a creative dramatic individual who needed sensitivity and understanding. A drama queen through and through, Mr Farrell dealt with me in a very understanding and sympathetic manner. He has now operated on me twice including a radical neck dissection which is major surgery. I would choose his care over anybody else in any medical field. I am complemented on my neck and non existent scarring almost every week. A superb indication of any medical professional’s skill comes from what his staff say about him. In intensive care I was reminded how lucky I was with comments like “Mr Farrell is simply the best in the hospital and a brilliant surgeon”. And “you are so lucky your surgeon was Mr Farrell”. Reviews of the nature of some on this site are extremely damaging - I want to stress that Mr Farrell saved my life with his expertise. I hope Mr Farrell will be my consultant for a very long time as he has my complete trust and endless respect. If I could give him 10 stars on this site I would!

I had extensive surgery for cancer and was recommended to the care of Mr Farrell for all my treatment Reading some of these reviews I have been astonished at the negative comments- this is a superbly dedicated and caring consultant who goes above and beyond I ended up 8 days in hospital post surgery and MrFarrell visited every day nothing was too much trouble & I felt totally cared for and supported This is an extremely highly qualified professional with extensive knowledge in his fields Almost 2 yrs post op I still have regular checks from Mr Farrell - I would suggest this is a surgeon who goes above and beyond
